It is crazy to think that a few years ago expecting mothers had no way of finding out the sex of their baby. Recently the technology surrounding motherhood has changed significantly. The ability to see a baby before it is ever born is outstanding. From a psychological standpoint, I believe it creates more of an attachment between mother and child. It also allows doctors to ensure a safe and healthy delivery. These videos and monitors can help to predict and treat prenatal medical issues as well. It will be interesting to see the technology involved in childbirth years from now when I have kids.
