  1. Modern business is all about the modern technology. The list of ten essentials above truly is all you need to run a business when you put them all together. Having a presence on the internet and being able to communicate with people no matter where you are is critical in today's shifting business climate. Having the right accounting and office software is also crucial to keeping your business running smoothly from an administrative point of view. The best part about this article is that it inspires me to want to create my own business, and the only things missing from the list are a good idea and hard work.

  2. The top ten tech things needed for business represents the latest in technology. I'm sure there are many successful businesses functioning profitably without all the latest tech gadgets. I bet this top ten list changes every five to ten years. Twenty years ago, the list probably read: calculator, business cards, notebook, typewriter, ball point pen, correction fluid(white-out),stapler, Scotch tape, desk phone, lava lamp.
From a social standpoint, the real things necessary to succeed in business have more to do with people skills and less to do with technology. Business clients want to know a business cares about their needs and will do its best to provide services in a quick, friendly and professional manner. Hard work and honesty will prevail in the business world when your "computer is down", your computer "doesn't recognize the modem", "the server is down", "you have no bars", you've dropped your smartphone in the toilet or someone steals your laptop from your desk.
